One more day
I’ve had a fantastic vacation, I know I forgot to write. Tomorrow is the US Open and then I’ll have to post because I’ll have pictures. I think I also have pictures of Nine Inch Nails with Peter Murphy but I don’t know, I had to take three showers after that show and then I sort of forgot about my camera. In case you’re wondering, yes, I did just take an Ambien. That’s what happens when you’ve been getting up at 1pm every day for a week and then you have to get up at eight suddenly.
But after reverting to my natural sleep schedule for a week (sleep at 3am, wake at 1pm) and thus watching 12 or so episodes of Sex and the City, I would just like to ask, without being catty, is Carrie really as stunning as the show makes her out to be? I mean, she’s awfully pretty, but everyone’s so wowed by her, is she as hot as all that? Maybe they hired the wrong actress. I think Charlotte is much prettier, honestly. I don’t know. What do you think?
Tomorrow (well, today now, Monday) is the last day of my vacation, and after Wednesday, I’ll have homework. Ponder that.

The Cure – The Last Day Of Summer
I’ve often wondered what the big deal about Carrie/SJP is anyway. But, I’ll admit it. I think I’m the only female in my demographic who didn’t follow the show closely. I’ve probably only seen one or two episodes, and those were on as background noise in some hotel room while I was traveling for work.
Can’t wait to hear about the US Open – oh, and the homework!
I didn’t watch it when it came out, I waited and bought the dvd set last year. While the story line did suck me in after the first season, I still haven’t gotten around to watching the movie. And personally, I’m not a huge Carrie fan. I’m with Monnik, I don’t know what the big deal is with her.
I’m having to drag myself out of bed by 6:20 AM and I wish I could get back to waking up at 5. I have no excuse for staying up past 10, what with the Daily Show being on vacation and all.
Not only is Carrie not that pretty, she’s also not that funny and not that smart, and she’s whiny and immature.
The best thing about her is the apartment. Maybe that’s what the guys are after.
HUGE Sex and The City fan here, but of course you know that, and I feel confident in saying that Carrie is the single most annoying character on that show. Don’t even get me started on how big of a hypocrite I think she is reagrding the whole Big/Aiden deal.
But, back to her looks. Do you not remember the Family Guy references to her, courtesy of Peter?

I’ve never seen SATC. I don’t get HBO and haven’t watched the mormon version on TBS. I’ve never thought “Carrie” was pretty–attractive, but not pretty. I’ve heard that most men don’t find her attractive.
I was looking for you in the stands at the Open on TV, but I didn’t see you. Probably because you were home then [9:45 pm Wednesday].
