Chapter two, so your pressure is dropping
Are you on my coast? You know, the right one? If so, you may be stuck indoors this weekend with nothing to do and no baseball games to watch on TV. But don’t worry! I have dug up this old chestnut to fill five minutes of your confinement. And I cut it off once the serious part starts, so feel free to make some French toast with all that bread, milk, and eggs you bought, gather around the computer with your loved ones, and enjoy!
And remember, remain calm! You will all have a chance to be gouged!
Stay safe, everyone!
Ha! Animals are always the first to know.
What is it, boy? Fire? Earthquake? Hippies?
How do you New Yorkers survive with no subway or bus?
I had baseball games to watch, but no cable or Internet! The brilliant workers of Time Warner Cable disconnected the wrong apartment [MINE!!] on Thursday and didn’t have any appts. to fix it til today, at 7:45 a.m. Try to get any info off radio anymore. Grrrrr. I could get the Washington Nationals broadcasts on radio, but their guys never give updates of other games.
We got a little wind–I had, like, 4 leaves on my stoop that had been blown off trees! And we got maybe 1/10 inch of rain. I survived. Even with no cable or internet.
For me personally, I stayed home. I think others did too.
I am glad you survived but sorry for your sans-baseball experience. Maybe when you’re 23 games back no one cares what’s happening in the other games. Poor Chen-Ming Wang.
