I know “Billboard magazines of the past” was last week’s theme, but I couldn’t help myself with this one. This is an actual snippet of the Modern Rock chart from a week in September 1999. No, it doesn’t take a lot to amuse me.
PS, no, I have no idea what happened to Splender. Godsmack are still chugging along.
They learn the truth so young! This is my 19 year old cousin’s Facebook status message as of this writing:
[Redacted] never relized how depressing it is to get fired. i really hope i can find another job. and i really hope i can find some way to be friendly to people that are ass wholes, its hard for me to be nice to those people but i ghuess to hold a job you have to.
It’s hard to find this out, it really is. But seriously, if I had to sum up how to keep a job, this would indeed be it. And she didn’t even have to sit through a graduation speech to find out!
