I have a bit of an allergy thing going on today so instead of actually posting, I thought I’d show you some other fine things I have going on here this week, namely the pages.

On the minor side, Where in the world is David Nalbandian? and iPod song of the week have been updated. But the most important thing is the new one you’ll see, Alfa’s Mets Page. Yes, I sold out. I auctioned off a page on my blog to the highest bidder with the proceeds to go to the Komen Race for the Cure. And Alfa, my good friend and sometime cowgirl won! Yes, I knew this would happen to me someday and a Mets fan would have her revenge. But it’s OK, I know it could have been worse. I could have sold my page for charity to a Red Sox fan.

Despite the fact that I allowed Alfa to say whatever she liked with no editorial interference (although she did have the stipulation to keep it clean), I must just say that I am wounded, deeply wounded, by her comparison of Georgie Posada to Beaker. Oh, the humanity.

Alfa’s page, per our legal and contractually binding agreement, will remain up for a month from today. Sadly, she’s in the City of Cracked Bells on a business trip and can’t actually see it just yet.

    I can’t believe I missed this auction!

Of course you have no idea what a Sooner is but, if I would have had a chance to bid on this auction, you would have.

Yay, Alfa! Yay, Alfa! I can’t believe we can’t comment on her page.

  3. Vicki, Florida says:

    Woohoo, go Alfa go.

    Lets Go Mets, GO!

I know it may be wrong, but I love me some Wright.

You are a good sport, there, Becca. You’re okay for a Yankee fan.

  4. Becca says:

I figured you could commnt here. Did you need to comment there too?

  5. Vicki, Florida says:

    There, where?

  6. Becca says:

    Directly on Alfa’s page.

  7. Vicki, Florida says:

I think I am completely confused, but I didn’t comment on that page, I think.

  8. Sarpon says:

At last, something new to read. That ROTM shit gets old. And if I was way tired of it, imagine how the rest of Jballworld felt about it.

Love Alfas’s page. But then, who wouldn’t?

  9. Becca says:

Vicki, yes, you can’t because by default I have comments turned off there. I’ll wait to hear from Alfa – hey, she paid!

Oh, come now, Sarpon, I could stare at that post forever. And I’ll have to because I have absolutely no inspiration to write anything new. Bad blogger, bad!

  11. Alfa says:

    Wow, I’m good 🙂

Love the caption on the Petey pic, Bec. And love you for giving me the opportunity to spread the Met Message throughout the J-Ball land.

  12. Becca says:

And I love that everyone loves me.

  13. Sarpon says:

The Bobby Vinton is getting kind of deep in here.
