Instead of numbering them, as they do at MIT, they have assigned them letters. So next to the first building so designated, there is a very helpful sign that reads, "A Building." In case you need a lesson in basic nouns, or something. And the lot where you park to visit an office in A Building has a sign, too: "A Lot." A propos of “A Dollar” and Baltimore:
